On the comeback, this winery is turning out many high quality wines priced well below what such quality normally fetches. The 1990 Cabernet Sauvignon (33,000 cases produced, so no complaints about not finding it) offers a big, bold, chocolatey, vanillin, spicy, sweet, blackcurrant-scented nose, soft, attractive, fleshy flavors, medium to full body, and a seductively rich, lush finish. A fine bargain, it is ideal for drinking now.
